Suzuki Gixxer has a new 154.9cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, based on the new SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. The 155cc engine is powered by a carbureted type fuel supply system and delivers the power upto 14.6bhp at 8,000rpm and torque output of upto 14Nm at 6,000rpm. Gixxer can pick up the speed of speed of 60kmpl from zero in just 5 seconds, making it’s pick up pretty amazing. The top speed of Gixer is 115 kmph and a mileage of 64 kmpl, allowing it to give fierce competition to its rivals.
Suzuki Gixxer has been mounted on light split-spoke alloys with 100/80 section front and 140/60 section rear MRF rubber. It provides excellent road grip, resulting in better handling. It has been equipped with a Bybre disc brake in the front wheel and a drum type unit at the rear.
Suzuki Gixxer comes with a 35/35W headlight for proper illumination on the road and its extra pilot lamp enhances its illumination range in the dark conditions.
