Over 15,000 bikers, mostly employees of Hari Krishna Exports, a diamond company from the city, organized an impressive bike rally to see off the women riders. The bikers drove with helmets and waved at the four women riders. Anandiben Patel flagged off the tour. Around 5,000 checkered flags were waved at the same time to signal the start.
“It is a proud moment for us that four women bikers are taking up such a long tour on their bikes to propagate the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign. I wish them all the luck for their successful tour of the 10 nations,” the CM said.

A team from the Guinness World Records was present at the spot to witness 15,000 helmet-donned bikers rallying for the women bikers and to record the 10,000km journey in 36 days.
