Bajaj Avenger Street 150 and 220 now available in 2 new refreshing colours

The Bajaj Avenger Street has been one of the best selling bikes of 2016 in India. In an effort to widen their appeal to even more people, Bajaj have now announced that the Avenger Street 150 and Street 220 will be available in 2 new colour options.

The three variants of the Avenger series – Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220 – were launched with one colour scheme each. The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 recently received a new Desert Gold colour theme and now it’s the turn of the Street twins.

The Avenger Street 150 which was earlier available only in Midnight Blue now also comes in a Cosmic Red colour scheme. Similarly, the Avenger Street 220 which was available only in Matte Black is now also available in a Matte Wild Green paint scheme.

Bajaj says that the Avenger is the fastest growing premium brand in the country as of now. The Street variants feature low set handlebar for better manoeuvrability within city environments, black cycle parts and alloy wheels whereas the Cruise gets high mounted handlebar for relaxed cruising, pillion back rest, chrome elements and spoke wheels.

The Street variants with their sporty handling characteristics and two engine options target young urban commuters whereas the Cruise 220 with its comfortable ergonomics caters to touring enthusiasts.

This new colour schemes have had no impact on the cost of the Bajaj Avenger bikes and all the variants are being retailed for the same price as they were earlier.

What do you think about the new colours? I’m not a big fan of the “Wild Green” but the “Cosmic Red” looks pretty brilliant.
