DSK Benelli Flying High After Sales Figures Hit 3,000 Units In India

DSK Benelli made its first appearance in India back in March 2015 and since then, it has gone from strength to strength in this highly competitive market. In 14 months of operation, the Italian motorcycle maker has sold 3,000 units of its bikes with the Benelli TNT 600i alone commanding a whopping one-third share of the sales.

Shirish Kulkarni, chairman, DSK Motorcycles said, “DSK Benelli has managed to carve a strong niche for itself in India’s superbike industry thanks to our emphasis on performance coupled with compelling design language. We have established our brand leadership stance on the basis of our diverse portfolio that offers superbikes at various price points. Our overall vision is to create a vibrant super biking culture in India and help more and more riding aficionados experience the pure pleasure of owning an Italian superbike unlike any other.”

DSK Benelli is now looking to capitalise on this brilliant start and cement its place in the performance motorcycle market in India by launching 2 new models; The DSK Benelli 302R (a performance sports bike) and the DSK Benelli TRK 502  (a sport-adventurer), which was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi/NCR, will go on sale by the end of this year or by early 2017.
