Most superheroes from our beloved comics and movies either have a fancy vehicle or don’t need one because they either fly, teleport, run super-fast and so on. But what if superheroes used bikes to travel around as their alter-egos when they were roaming around as regular people? Here’s what we came up with:
1. Captain America / Steve Rogers – Honda Moriwaki MD600
Even though Captain America rides around on a Harley-Davidson in the movies, this beautifully detailed Honda Moriwaki MotoGP bike is a wonderful alternative for Steve Rogers. Though it is a Japanese bike, the American colour scheme, especially the star-spangled fuel tank, makes it a very patriotic bike.
2. Deadpool / Wade Wilson – Ducati Monster
No bike would suit Wade Wilson (a.k.a Deadpool) more than the Ducati Monster. It has the same colour scheme as his suit, and is more than capable of providing the crazy riding that Deadpool exhibits in all the other aspects of his life (And blood won’t be visible on that Ducati red).
3. Thor – Lightning LS218
Some of you may not believe it, but the Lightning LS218 currently is vying for the title of “The fastest production bike” with the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. And the name couldn’t have been more apt for Thor. God of Lightning meet the LS218, which happens to run entirely on electricity.
4. Green Lantern / Hal Jordan – Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
When it comes to green bikes, only one thing comes to mind – a Kawasaki Ninja. And for someone like Hal Jordan who’s a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, the insane Ninja ZX-10R is the only choice. Nimbler than it’s larger sibling, the ZX-14R, the litre-class Ninja is a much more aggressive superbike which is perfect for anyone who like to live on the edge.
5. Human Torch / Johnny Storm – Yamaha R1
Johnny Storm is shown in the movies as one of the those celebrities who absolutely loves being the centre of attention. When it comes to eye-catching bikes, there very few that can trump the bright red Yamaha R1. Guaranteed to draw attention wherever it goes, this older but better-looking R1 is the best ride for someone who calls himself the ‘Human Torch’.
