Indian cricketers and their love for bikes

All over the world, Sportsmen have long been seen having great liking for automobiles, especially motorcycles.  It is easy to guess why! The bikes provide an adrenaline rush and the sense of euphoria which these athletes are accustomed to in their professions too. Even our beloved cricketers are not spared by the motorbike bug and they too like to go vroooom around the town on their super cool bikes. The cricketers find a way out of their high –stress life in form of riding exquisite bikes. These bikes also provide an insight into the personality of the cricketer and their outlook towards life, in general.

Though almost all cricketers new and old have been ardent bike lovers and have owned and advertised different bikes in their time, there are a few contemporary cricketers whose names automatically pop up as the top most bike fanatics in India.

The most successful and daring captain of the Indian Cricket team, Dhoni has a stable of wonderful bikes. This superb batsman is a proud owner of Suzuki GSX 1300 popularly known as Hayabusa. It comes with a 1340 cc engine and has superior aerodynamic design. The bike accelerates in a wink of eye and reaches from 0-100 km/hr in only 2.5 seconds.

This extremely talented spinner owns a Harley Davidson Sportster Fourty – Eight. It is a customizable bike from the Milwaukee bike giant and has V twin 1200cc engine. It is one of those bikes which defy logic and people buy it as it moves their soul. It is a rebel in its essence with unconventional features for the Indian bike scenario. It is kind of bike which announces its arrival from a km away, thanks to the roaring engine and exhaust.
