The Munnabhai star has a penchant for high-end bikes and cars. His most prized possession is arguably his Harley Davidson Fat Boy which is a 330 kg cruiser bike powered by a massive 1,690cc engine producing 65 bhp of power and 132 Nm of torque.
Saif Ali Khan
The Nawab of Pataudi can often be seen roaming the streets of Mumbai on his Harley Davidson Iron 883. The Iron 883 is a sportster powered by an 883 cc engine and is arguably one of the best looking bikes made by Harley Davidson. With an ex-showroom price of INR 7,37,000 it also happens to be one of the cheapest bikes sold by the American manufacturer in India. That is a daunting price tag for most of us but you can rent the bike on Wheelstreet to see what it’s like to be Saif Ali Khan for a day or two.
The quintessential biker boy of Bollywood and a long time ambassador of Yamaha in India, John Abraham’s love for fast bikes was sparked while he was riding the Suzuki Hayabusa as the villain in Dhoom.
Due to contract conflicts with Yamaha, he had to return the Hayabusa, which was once the fastest bike in the world. He has since expanded his collection to include a special edition, all-black black Yamaha R1, hailed as one of the best superbikes ever made, and also the Yamaha V-Max cruiser among others.
Both the Yamaha R1 and the Suzuki Hayabusa are available for rent on Wheelstreet.
The actress who achieved fame with a stellar performance in ‘Dor’, has a relatively unknown love for bikes. She owns a BMW 650 Fundura and is a huge fan of Royal Enfield. She rides around the city on a vintage Royal Enfield Electra replete with a cast iron 350cc engine and her wedding procession even had her sitting in the sidecar attached to the Bullet which her husband was riding.
Perhaps the most surprising entry on this list, Priyanka Chopra seems to be going the whole 9 yards with her affair with the USA; releasing music tracks with will.i.am and Pitbull, starring in Quantico and now she has bought the iconic Harley Davidson Superlow with a hot pink paint job!
The Superlow is a cruiser featuring a 883cc engine that generates a healthy 50 bhp of power and 69Nm of torque. The Harley Davidson Superlow is available for rent on www.wheelstreet.com (not in pink though, unfortunately).
The Bhai of Bollywood is more famous for his antics in his car, but he has a couple of impressive bikes in garage as well. Salman Khan is the brand ambassador of Suzuki and as such has a Suzuki Hayabusa and a limited edition Suzuki Intruder M1800RZ cruiser. The Intruder is an immensely powerful 1783cc bike producing 127 bhp and 160Nm of torque.
A few years ago, getting these bikes in India (with the exception of Royal Enfield) was very difficult as they had to be imported. The rapid growth of the Indian motorcycle market has led to manufacturers like Harley Davidson selling their bikes at reduced prices. They are still quite unaffordable for most people, but we can at least satiate our desire of riding some of these bikes by renting them from Wheelstreet.
