The initials stand as NS for ‘Naked Sport , RS for Race Sport Styling.
NS is all about showing the muscles and inner beast , while RS 200 has a fully faired finish.

The RS 200 comes with ABS (Antilock Braking System), while Pulsar 200NS does not offer it as yet. The suspension, other than that remains the same for both : telescopic front and monoshoch canister type at the back.
Power to weight ratio for RS200 is 148.48 PS/tone and for NS200 is 162.2 PS/tonne. The things which remain unchanged are the 6 speed gearbox.
