Every year Nashik plays host to the one-of-a-kind SulaFest. If you’re planning on checking it out this year at the Sula Vineyards Resort, you can rent a bike from Wheelstreet in Pune and ride out to one of India’s most exciting festivals in style.
The Sula Wine Festival was first held in 2008 in the quiet vineyards of Nashik. The first edition gathered an explosive response from wine lovers and music enthusiasts and has continued to grow in scale every year, turning into a two-day affair from initially being a single-day festival. The SulaFest is arguably India’s most fun festival. Party goers can dance to every kind of music imaginable, drink amazing wines, beers and spirits from across the world, and participate in fun events like camping, grape stomping, tarot reading, and so on. A massive tent, dubbed ‘Tent City’, is set up so that visitors can relax in the midst of the beautiful vineyards.
SulaFest 2017 promises to be the biggest and best festival ever held in the Sula Vineyards Resort. With over a 100 international and national artists playing more than 25 genres of music, over 30 gourmet food and beverage options, and endless shopping options, the annual wine festival is the place to be in February. Where to stay
There are a lot of hotels located near the Sula vineyards in Nashik which offer affordable and comfortable accommodation. Taj, Ibis, Ginger, Formule1 and Express Inn are all situated less than 30-45 minutes away from the location. However, if you want to stay true to the spirit of the Sulafest, then you can book a tent at a campsite located a mere 3oo metres from the main venue. That way you spend a minimum amount for a place to stay and you get to revel in the festivities throughout the night.
The SulaFest is definitely going to be the first awesome party in 2017 and it’s one you just can’t miss out on. So book your tickets and rent a bike from Wheelstreet in Pune and go live it up with a heady mix of music, wine, and food at the most beautiful location.
