This passionate rider swears by the Yamaha Vmax because he feels that the bike is a beast, has a lot of power and torque which makes the ride enjoyable! Before starting a trip, he makes sure that his bike is completely serviced and he checks the tire pressure, engine oil, chain, and headlights. Usually, Rohit does not book the hotels beforehand and fixes up his accommodation only after reaching the destination.

While sharing his experiences of the Ladakh trip, he claimed that he came across some really bad roads on the way to Pangong Lake and he had a quite tough time! During summer, one can witness riders from all over the world who are visiting Ladakh. One can easily strike a conversation with the other riders and get to know about their experiences. He came across many riders from Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia riding to Ladakh! Since these riders do not carry their own bikes, they rent bikes to explore Ladakh! Rohit’s experiences in Spiti Valley and Zojila Pass will surely remain etched in his memory forever.

Rohit is a part of a biker’s club which comprises 30 to 40 members and they go on trips regularly. They visit the destination, explore the place and share their experiences with one another. Rohit loves to go on solo trips and claims that during group outings, a lot of things depend on the group because everyone cannot ride long distances. If he is riding in a group, he prefers to keep his group small comprising four to five members. He points out that while riding solo, the rider needs to be responsible and careful because he is all by himself. Rohit feels that solo rides are more adventurous than group rides.

When Rohit was asked about the future of motorcycles in the country, he claimed that riding has become a fashion and everyone is starting their own riding clubs. He mentions that not everyone is responsible on the roads and many inexperienced riders end up in mishaps. It is extremely important to be careful, gain considerable experience, and then opt for the challenging and difficult riding trails. Rohit has traveled to almost the whole of India except the north-eastern regions and he plans to explore the north-east soon. Rohit’s mantra to the upcoming riders would be to wear helmets, avoid rash riding and teach others to ride safely.
