Royal Enfields are one of the most popular bikes in the world and also happen to be one of the most modified bikes too. A number of talented artists use them as canvases to showcase their talent which results in a variety of beautiful and unique bikes. We at Wheelstreet have shortlisted of the best modified REs that we could find.
5. Royal Enfield Bobber by Bull City Customs
This retro bobber by the Delhi based custom house is based on the Royal Enfield 350cc Thunderbird. Apart from the engine, everything else on this modified Thunderbird is custom made. The single seat, wrapped exhaust pipe, peanut tank and matt blue paint job with hints of bronze give this bike a very unique look.
4. Royal Enfield Bullet by Old Empire Motorcycles
Old Empire Motorcycles are relatively new custom builders based out of England. This particular bike is a modified 2009 RE Bullet Electra. It retains the original Enfield engine but features a Harley-Davidson Sportster tank that blends in surprisingly well with the bike. The white paint job with blue accents is really eye-catching and the mudguards are especially good.
3. 8 Ball by Rajputana Customs
Rajputana Customs are currently the most famous custom builders in India and are rapidly gaining popularity across the globe. The 8 Ball is the 8th bike to come out of the Rajputana garage and like all bikes before it, it’s an absolute stunner. The shortened handlebars, sporty tank, detachable pillion seat and a beautiful tail light give this bike a distinctive style which is the reason why the heavyweights of the biking world like Harley-Davidson and Triumph are approaching Rajputana to build customs for their bikes.
2. Bullet Beach Bobber by MotoVida Cycle Inc.
MotoVida are Canada based motorcycle customisers and this modified Royal Enfield Bullet is meant to be a beach cruiser. The Beach Bobber is a fun version of the 2011 RE Bullet 500 and looks completely different from the original bike. The blue and chrome tank with a big RE logo and the headlight are very eye-catching. MotoVida have also replaced the side panels with leather bags which adds a nice touch to the modified bike.
1. Royal Enfield Musket 998 V-Twin by Aniket Vardhan
The only bike on this list to feature a non-production engine, the Musket is built on a V-Twin engine designed by Aniket Vardhan. The engine was created by combining two heads from an Enfield Cast Iron Engine. Aniket has spent years developing this engine and the craftsmanship is exceptional. At first glance, the Musket might even look like a vintage RE that has been restored like the way it came out of a factory. The craftsmanship on the bike is exceptional and it has even found its way into Jay Leno’s garage.
