Wheelstreet launches in Bangalore

Wheelstreet was started in Delhi in the November of 2014 with the aim of making bike renting as easy and hassle-free as possible. The venture was a success and in just 14 months of operation  Wheelstreet has gained 11,000+ satisfied customers in Delhi. Following the success in Delhi, Wheelstreet is now expanding through India and Bangalore has been selected as the next city in which we are starting operations, and here’s why.

Bangalore is home to an astonishing 40 lakh (approx) two-wheelers which account for nearly 70% of all vehicles in the city. This fact makes sense once you consider the number of colleges and IT companies that are continuously popping up in Bangalore. Bikes and scooters are the vehicles of choice for a large number of students and working professionals who can’t afford to buy a car.

Apart from the low cost of bikes, they are easier to ride in traffic, have much higher mileages and ensure problem-free parking wherever you go (and they’re cooler than cars). All these factors are the reason why 2-wheelers are the most popular mode of transportation in a crowded city like Bangalore.

What do you do when you’re visiting Bangalore for a day or two and need a mode of transportation? The buses are extremely crowded and using autorickshaws or cabs will burn a hole in your pocket, especially if you have to visit multiple places. This is where renting a vehicle would be ideal, and a bike instead of a car would definitely be the best choice. Wheelstreet offers bikes for rent at affordable rates. You can rent a scooter for as little as Rs 250 a day, a Bajaj Pulsar 150 for Rs 600 and even a Royal Enfield Classic 350 for Rs 850 a day. Isn’t that much better than spending a bomb on cab rides or travelling miserably in crowded buses?

Now consider another scenario: you live in Bangalore and you really want to go on long road trips but you have a nice commuter bike like the Bajaj Discover or Hero Splendor. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get a better, more powerful bike for a few days or weeks to go hit the road for a long road trip? Well, now you can. Wheelstreet also offers bikes ranging from Kawasaki Ninjas to Harley Davidsons and even superbikes like the Yamaha R1 and Suzuki Hayabusa on rent! Rent a bike in Bangalore from Wheelstreet and go for a road trip on your dream bike.

Whether you want to roam the city for a day or go for a long road trip or even impress your date with a fancy set of wheels (not a lot of things can beat the first impression of turning up for a date on a Harley Davidson), everyone in Bangalore can now look to Wheelstreet as a one stop solution for your biking needs.
