Though Bajaj discontinued Discover 150 sometime back due to poor sales, those who love the model can still pick up the bike on rent from a bike rental that loans two-wheelers on rent to those who prefer two-wheelers to cabs and public transport.
Bajaj Discover 150 did not get a lion’s share of fame like other bikes of its league, but that doesn’t necessarily make it a flop. It still rivals all the 150 cc bikes. Those of you willing to go for a ride can think of hiring a bike like Discover 150 for a ride to remember.
Bajaj Discover 150 carries the same design as its younger sibling Discover 125, the Double Cradle Type chassis. Bajaj Discover 150 is available in 3 different colors - Black with blue, Black with green, Black with magenta and Flame red. It has an analogue instrument console which displays the speed levels and incorporates the fuel gauge too. It has also been equipped with Electric Start, Pillion Footrest and Pass Light, making it more convenient for the rider as well as the pillion.
The Discover 150F is powered by a single-cylinder 150cc engine that produces 14bhp at 8,5000rpm and a maximum torque of 12.75Nm at 6,500rpm. The bike can reach a top speed of 110 kmph and delivers an excellent mileage of 60kmpl on road. The bike has been equipped with a fuel tank of 8 liters, though what it lacks in volume is made up by its fuel efficiency.
Discover 150 is equipped with a 240mm disc at the front and 130mm drum at the rear. It lacks ABS unit which would have otherwise made braking more efficient.
Pass light makes over taking easier and safe while the 35/35W headlight provides plenty of illumination at night.
