Kufri is small hill town located in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The town derives its name from the local term ‘kufr’ meaning ‘lake’. It is located 13 km away from Shimla and about 360 km from Delhi. It takes around 8 hours to reach Kufri from Delhi via road. Many people love to go to the hill town from Delhi via bikes. Chini Bungalow is a major attraction of Kufri. It is known for its brilliant architecture and lots of beautiful statues, a fine example of great craftsmanship. Tourists flock this place all year round and people visiting Kufri must definitely pay the Chini Bungalow a visit. The bungalow offers panoramic views of the natural surroundings, adding the cherry to the cake.

Kufri became a popular tourist destination and is not much commercialized yet like other frequented cities of Himachal.
