Zanskar, one the most remote valley of Jammu & Kashhmir, the valley of Mighty 7000+ peaks of NUN KUN and the Valley where people keep YAKs to work in their fields.
Zanskar, which lies 250km from the Kargil city is not only famous for its Frozen Chadar trek but, its is also known for its rish buddhist culture.
Monestries like Karsha monestry, pugghtal monestry held with rich history is one of the main attraction in Zanskar, but zanskar is not only limited till here. This is the vallley of some of the most highest peaks, NUN& KUN, which are been done as a practice for the Mihty Mount everest or Mount K2.
This place is more special as people are only dependent on the water which came from the glaciers and parts of Zanskar valley are considered some of the coldest continually inhabited places in the world.
There are almost 15 small villages in Zanskar, which consistes very limited number of families, that too most of them to only couple of families.
This is the valley of Mighty Panzi-La, and remain remain closed for most part of the year.
There are much more things about Zanskar, and we dont just believe in sitting in front of our laptop and mobile phone screen but we believe in exploring this mysterious valley on our machines.
Come lets find this mystory with TanTra Adventures.
